It is a brand new week. A new week to eat health and exercise. Another new week to a new you.
These are the reminders that I tell myself each week. I did my grocery shopping yesterday. Since it is only me, I only do big grocery shopping once every 2 months. I pick up things that I need each week. I now have a stocked freezer again. I have fruits and veggies to eat. Stuff to pack for lunches. I'm ready to go!
Look at a each week, each day as a new start. If you dwell on the past and what you did or didn't do, you will struggle to meet your goals. I've been doing this weight loss journey for many years. There are times that I need reminders myself.
We will have good weeks and bad weeks. Look at the good weeks...they will help you.
My biggest struggle right now is getting in my exercise. I do little things...take the stairs at work, walk as much as possible around the office, dance around my living room to my favorite songs. Little things that matter in the long scheme of things.
Last night was cousins game night. Every couple of months, a cousin has all of us over to their house for game night. We all bring something to eat and play games. Last night was Guitar Hero, Just Dance for Kids and Michael Jackson experience. Boy what a work out! It was night of fun and laughter. Something we all need. I can't wait to see the pictures my cousin took. I know that they are funny!
