Well, Today was weigh in day. I was a little apprehensive about getting on the scale(even though my pants are a little loose)but as you can guess from the title, it went well. emoticon I lost....6lbs!! Woot woot! emoticon I know actually weigh 5 lbs less than when I got married almost 20 years ago! emoticon My husband lost 12 lbs! He gets a little more exercise than I do. He is the Schwan's guy for our area and walks about 25 miles a week! emoticon I plan to ramp up the exercise my self this week. emoticon Today is our carb day. Every 7th day you can eat all the carbs you want! After church I went to McDonald's with some friends and had a 1/4 pounder with cheese and fries(large of course) emoticon It was good, but I got overfull! My tummy isn't use to eating that way anymore which isn't a bad thing.
I'm learning so much on this journey, like how to cook! emoticon Seriously, before I was using a lot of meal kits and microwave foods which are full of refined sugars and are so processed. It is so much healthier to eat actual food. We're eating a lot more chicken,(well, I always did )fish,and fresh vegetables(and yes, some frozen.) I am learning you don't have to have a rice or pasta side dish with every meal emoticon We have 5 weeks left on this plan but I know some changes I will be making permanent.
