I lost three pounds last week, so I'm in a pretty chipped mood. That's a total of 36 pounds lost since I started. I'm aiming for an even 40 lost by the end of the month. That would really be a nice start for the new year.
I've also noticed that keeping my carbs and fat for the day as close to the minimum daily requirement as possible, has really been helping as well. That means I've been eating mostly vegetables, meats, and dairy as of late. I'm pretty pleased with the results. I do love pasta, but eating it sparingly is way better for me than cutting it out altogether.
I've been doing strength training exercises at work between customers to fit it in without feeling like I need to workout after I get home. So far it's a success, and I don't feel quite so bad if I get too busy to get on the bike that day.
My next update will more than likely be when I hit the 40 pounds lost mark, so look forward to that. Now it is time to go to work.
