Do you ever get one of those spells where your feet just don't touch the ground?
Thursday- off to work at 7.40 as usual. Work the morning. Come home and have a cup of tea, then off out for hospital appt in Haywards Heath. That's about a 30 min run in the car as we live slightly out in the sticks. I was going with my husband as it was an appt with his cardiology team. He is now on the waiting list for a pacemaker/internal defib device. They can't promise it will make him feel like a new man, but he might feel less like an old one. Got home at 4.50, feed dogs and head off for 6pm train into Horsham to see a man about a guitar(husband again) with promise of a meal afterwards. We get to eat at about 8pm by which time I could eat a scabby donkey! Dangerous state to get into when you're trying to be sensible. However just kept to one course with a big side salad. No collateral damage there.
Friday- Work absolutely manic from beginning to end so only got 20 mins for lunch. Helping with minor surgery in the afternoon (lumps, bumps and dermatology) so once scrubbed up and in there, no sneaking out for a sneaky biscuit. Shopped on way home. Made dinner and was so tired had a shower and retired to bed at 8.30,
Saturday- housework and then onto the bedroom curtains. Luckily the fabric is an exact match for the colour of the bedroom walls. I am altering an enormous pair of curtains into two smaller pairs as my bedroom has a window at each end. Very good charity shop find!
Sunday- Day of rest? No chance. My much loved eldest grandson (9yrs) Had invited himself and his mum to lunch. He even made a jelly to bring bless him. So off shopping down the village or bits and bobs then made tomato+red pepper soup, Meatloaf (Czech style as that where my sons ex-wife originates from) with lots of veggies+ very naughty, I bought a rhubarb pie. Then settled down to watch Manchester united match on Sky. This was the main reason grandson wanted to come to lunch as they don't have Sky at home. 4pm fell asleep on couch. I'm hoping as the days get longer I won't just fall asleep every time I stop doing stuff. Also that at meal time I will lose the urge to go from
. Still have finally got round to logging on and putting in my rather reduced exercise totals. Hope to add a new thing to my schedule next week. Have got an exercise dvd for a 30 minute workout and I want to do it on alternate days, starting tomorrow. It's my half day at work so have no excuse to duck out. Certainly won't be doing any cooking as there is enough left over from today to just shove in the microwave. Off to bed for a quick read before lights out and then in the morning back to the grindstone. Night all!
