Been here since 2010

Ha! I'm back again. I've been on Sparkpeople since 2010 and I haven't made very much progress. I'm a "sporadic sparker". I'll be consistent for a few months at a time and then completely disappear. This time, I've been gone for over a year. It's amazing to me that the Sparkpeople website is still here and that there are so many people who continue to participate. There's always a chance to start fresh, lose the weight, and get healthy. I'm tired of starting over, though. I want to get it done this year. I want to post pictures of my progress like everyone else. I'm tired of feeling like my life is on hold because I'm afraid to adopt new eating and exercise habits. But most of all, I simply don't want to give up my comfort foods and old eating habits.

    I love my comfort food too! I've learned to eat in moderation - and I do mean moderation. I eat what I want and I've lost 53 pounds. I have 75 more to go and I'm going to get there! I also exercise consistently.

    You like your comfort food, I like my comfort food. I think that the only way I am ever going to succeed is to make small, but profound changes in my diet and exercise.

    What I have been doing this last week is Friending people who have lost the weight and read what they have to say, it helps inspire me.
