I had a pretty good weekend. I did have some Fig Newtons last night. Should I adjust my servings of fruit? Anyways, I did lose a little weight. Down to 218.2. I feel great.
I already did my walk today, got groceries, pills, and spent an hour at my friend's pizzeria cleaning windows. He has health inspections, and I volunteered to clean some. I plan on watching another U-M game today, against the devil ( I mean Ohio State ). If they win, they will be # 1 in the nation on Monday. Then maybe read.
My brother started back to school, and one of his elective classes is a nutrition class. So my brother and I, are challenging each other starting today. He weighs 282, me 218. We are competing to see who can lose the most weight by 3/31, and whoever loses, has to buy a digital camera for the other. That way I do not have to buy a camera to take my photo ..lol... unless I lose. He has the advantage because he ate pizza this weekend, and I ate well( except fig newtons ). Plus he is 60 lbs heavier. He will be eating cereal, sandwich and fruit, veggie, another sandwich and fruit, and then chicken and noodles... 5 meals. He says it is 1800 ish in calories.
I will continue eating low carb with 1650 calories a day, and 11 servings of vegetables. Right now 5 eggs with 2 T butter, and a can of mushrooms for breakfast. Lunch is 11 ozs b/s chicken thighs, 1 can diced NS tomatoes, and 1 cup diced onion. Dinner is 3 chicken thighs, and a can of green beans. Plus 12 cups of water minimum.
I am waiting to see if he can stop drinking pop..lol. I took in an entire garbage bag of bottles to one of the pizzeria employees. I hate changing bottles, and she is a single Mom of 2. Probably 30 pop bottles, and he drank them in the last 2 weeks. A few were 2 liters.
Hopefully he loses 1 lb less than I do..lol. I had to buy chicken thighs with skin, because they had no b/s, except for 1 package, and of course, my brother needed that kind, so I got just 14 with leftovers from last weeks chicken. With low carb skin makes no difference, and I could use the fat. I cut out oil in my dishes, because it tasted... oily. Using water instead.
Weather was still warm enough to walk outside today, but will be down to 28 for a high in a few days. So I will be back in the gym. I am thinking of doing half my body with bands, and doing a band workout 6 days a week. Not sure about that though. Right now I do my entire body on M,W,F.
