Job Search... Again

Sunday, January 13, 2013

After over two years at my job, I'm fed up and tired of the lies. Because I understand that the bills MUST be paid, I'm not at liberty to tell my boss exactly what he can do with this job. So, I'm polishing my resume, and beginning the search once more.

Most of my recent experience has been in retail, including management, but I'm looking for a 40 hour, Monday through Friday type job. Something that, at the end of the day, I can go home and leave the job there. Not having to worry that somebody else is going to call off, and I'll be expected to go in on my day off, or work a double...

I like working with people, but I like number crunching, as well as data entry jobs. I'd really like to have a desk of my own, and maybe even a cubicle... LOL! I can afford to take a pay cut, if given the full 40 hours a week. I really NEED a job where I can relax at the end of the day, and then crawl into bed with my husband. Third Shifts suck!!!

Wish me luck!!!

I will be praying for you. I worked in retail for three years--it was a job that drained me. I filled in all hours and all days. I can truly relate to how you feel. Be persistent in your job hunt and if you need encouragement, I am here.

You can find a better job...look up places like to get your resume out there.

I hope you find another job. Meanwhile my suggestion is to network, volunteer, and keep on sparking! I have been unemployed for a couple of years, and it sucks.
