No Exercise

My massage yesterday sure helped: I'm not as miserable as I was. Thanks for all the kind words.

It's driving me crazy that I haven't been able to workout since Tuesday due to back issues. BUT it amazes me that I'm so upset about it. I mean, really?? Two years ago I wouldn't have believed that I would be upset about NOT exercising.

Since I can't exercise, I'm focusing on eating right to try and maintain my weight loss momentum: lots of fruits, veggies, and protein and easy on the carbs; keeping them whole grain when possible.

So tell me, who's working out today and what are you doing? Let me live vicariously through you!

    Korina and I hiked Diamond Head today. We made it to the top in a little over 30 minutes! which for the first time isn't bad. The view was amazing hoping to blog about it tomorrow and post some pictures.

    The rain has kept me in but I did hoop for 41 minutes! Are you able to walk? That's my main exercise and what I'd miss the most. You will mend; glad you are watching what you eat! Be well.

    I'm glad you're able to make the best of a sucky situation. I just did some boring cardio today - 15 minutes on a thing that kind of mimics roller blading, 15 minutes on a stair master, and 30 minutes on an elliptical. And then I went out to brunch!

    Just walking the dog, climbed 120+ steps at the next town around the coast....nothing special!

I love that you are focusing on healthy foods.

My husband and I did our jog yesterday so today we are doing sit ups, pushups, jumping rope and anything else we can think of to keep moving.

We are planning out out meals for the week and will do some cooking tonight. Weee!

Hope you are up and at'em soon. I'll be thinking of your quick recovery!
