I read an article that 3.1mph is the rate to walk at for optimal fat burn in someone who has more than 10lbs to lose. I'd been walking at 2.5, so I figured why not bump it up.
It's not a bad walk. I did one 20 minute walk session and one 30 minute walk session today. My goal is to do at least one 20 minute walk session a day. This will add with my goal in reaching 10k steps a day, as well as working up to running a 5k.
