Well, the scale's back to where it was before the kids came home (yay!)
I've spent the past couple of days planning a surprise birthday trip to Disney World for the kids. Normally I love to plan travel. I have no problem figuring out elaborate itineraries for destinations halfway around the globe, some of which don't even have access to electricity. But Disney World? It just might kill me. This has, by far, been the most frustrating trip-planning experience I've ever had in my life.
On the upside, I've walked 40 miles in the past 4 days. I'm still restricted from doing anything too vigorous or lifting weight of any kind, but walking is fine, so I walk far. I figure it will prepare me for marathon days at Florida theme parks.
I'm also setting a goal that I would like to lose 25-30 pounds in the three and a half months before we leave. That would be about 8 pounds a month, which is ambitious, but realistic if I stay motivated.
