Hey! First goal met - where was I?

Just like the title implies - I met my first goal, which was to lose 5 lbs. and I acutally lost 6lbs. How did that happen so quickly? I guess it isn't all that fast (6 weeks) but I was so focused on eating right/exercising/working and blogging - plus reading other sparkers blogs - that I didn't realize the scale had budged!
I weigh myself everyday so it seems I would notice - how did I not notice? I knew the numbers changed but it didn't seem to sink into my brain what it meant! How wierd is that?
I was just discussing (with my mom last night) all the great ideas on SparkPeople - about the Woo-Hoo jar
(you write notes with accomplishments - even little ones and put it in the jar to be read later when you are down or at the end of the year).
The one I just started doing - two jars - one with glass pebbles of how many pounds you want to lose and one empty one that you move the pebbles as you lose the pounds. When I created mine today, it just hit me - hey, I met my first goal! For real!
This is not the greatest picture - but you get the idea.
Now, I need to do a non-food reward system like other sparkers suggested.
What is a fitting gift to myself? Not clothes, I haven't lost enough to spend money on that. Maybe a sparkpeople cup! So I can fill it up - with lots of water! LOL (wink if you get the reference to my one of my favorite sparksters songs- MostMom1) Well, have a great day fellow sparksters!
