Doing Things Different Saturday

I did things a bit different, not on my schedule today. I pulled out my beginning yoga DVD and practiced beginning poses. I had to laugh at myself, at my awkwardness and stumbling around, but I did it and I figure with practice I will get better. My poodles thought it was play time and kinda swarmed me a bit. I am glad my Hez is feeling a bit better today, yesterday he got his annual shots and was a little lethargic yesterday evening. emoticon emoticon

I am going to continue to learn how to pose, and do the stretching. If that 60 year old Dr. Neurologist can suggest that yoga may help alleviate my hip and foot pain, along with getting my weight down and becoming more flexible, then I am going to do this. Yes I am not a DVD person, but I figure with this new house of mine and my TV room can help me be cost effective and learn how to stand, how to keep my posture up, how to work my core and elongate myself. On my way to thinner thighs! emoticon
