Getting back on track

I keep saying I am getting back on track-to myself, my friends, my facebook, my kids. I get a good start for a few days then I see something and think 1 bite won't hurt.. wrong 1 leads to 3 etc. I decided I am not going to do this alone! I have been a TOPS member for several years , tried Visalus shakes, gave up carbs and more. Giving up carbs, eating off of kiddie plates and one1 free day a week seems to work best for me. So this time- the whole family is going to be a part of this. We are eating more protein and better carbs, stuff I cook from scratch- not frozen foods! More fruits and salads, less chips and french fries! Hopefully blogging will help me get my frustration with my weight out in the open and make me see what I am doing! emoticon

    I hear you, especially with the bite here, the nibble there, and "I'll just finish off this last little bit--" Me too!

    One thing that helps me is gum. I don't like gum, but if I have a piece of super-minty (and always sugar-free) gum in my mouth, nothing tastes good after that, lol. So when I'm finished my meal, in goes the gum, until I have the table cleared and I'm done in the kitchen.
