Well, I've picked up a nightshift tonight, and in order to keep myself on track and not get completely derailed by having my entire circadian rhythm thrown off by being awake when my body should be sleeping (this is the reason I got off nights, FYI), I've got to have a gameplan to organize my day tomorrow. Granted I get out of work relatively on time (say, around 8AM) here's my plan for tomorrow morning. I really don't want to skip my workout, or sleep all day!
8AM Get some coffee at Starbucks (their super-caffeinated roasts get me going like no other) / Have pre-workout breakfast (yogurt w/ granola bar)
8:30AM (or hopefully before 9AM) Try out the Planet Fitness near the coffee shop-- 45 minutes cardio/200+ abs (no weights tomorrow, since I did my routine today)
Bring a change of clothes (don't forget to pack this in my bag tonight!) and protein bar to have after workout
10:30AM (or 11AM) Grocery shopping for the week (don't forget the list!)
12 Noon Be home to snuggle with my sweetie for the rest of the day!
Other things to do.... Finish organizing all the important papers, set up the recipe binder, check for contact from academic advisor, make another separate binder to organize paperwork for RN-BSN program.. YAY!
Woohoo! I'm feeling better about this already, and that tomorrow will be a good day. The only thing to remember is that I have to hold myself accountable to this schedule, no matter how tired I am when I get out of work... I can do this!
