I made it to 72 grams of protein again!

~ French Toast made with Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel Bread and egg white and topped with pumpkin, baked apples, and prunes

~ Edamame, Chobani yogurt, and a rice cake

~ Pineapple

~ Cod and veggies with honey dijon

My anniversary is on Monday. I was not able to have a nice wedding cake for my marriage to Robert, and I absolutely LOVE wedding cake!! So someday I would like to have a wedding cake on our anniversary. I don't want one this year, but definitely one year- I want it to be very elaborate and ridiculously expensive!!!
Here are some fantasy miniature wedding cakes that I thought were so cute. Hopefully I'll dream about them tonight! I love dreaming about treats!

The cinnamon raisin ezekiel is one of my favorite! Yum. Way to go continuing to get your protein in! That has been a challenge for me lately. Cute cakes! We had an ok cake for our wedding. Didn't save any of it though. Great idea buying minis :-)! I might try doing that for our 15th anniversary.

Most wedding cakes I have tasted were terrible, but there was this *one* cake...OMGoodness it was the best cake I have ever had (it was white), and I am a true die-hard chocolate cake fan! I found out where the cake came from, and I went and asked what made their wedding cakes so yummy. I was surprised that she told me--the flavor that made the cake so special? It was a hint of almond extract. Oh man, just thinking about that cake..mmmmmmm

My best friend just got engaged and we are going to a Bridal Expo this Sunday. My mind boggle at the number of Wedding Cake samples we will be consuming.
I plan to go for a good run that morning!

I am not a fan of wedding cakes! Too rich and given to you just after a 4 course meal!!! You didn't really miss out on much. I don't remember mine at all. I am trying to think if I even had one. I have some recollection of cutting one - must look back at the photos!

My daughter's wedding cake didn't taste all that great either, the fawnda(sp) was pretty but nasty. My daughter didn't even want to save the top piece for her one year anniversary. But those minis look great, maybe they can have one of those.

I love the mini-cakes... so cute! And what a great idea, to celebrate an anniversary with a wedding cake. Love it! I might file that one away for when DH and I hit 10 years... or when we just need good cake. ;)

Love the little cakes!! I'm trying to treat food, especially desserts, like "jewelry". Be selective, enjoy a little once in awhile.... these, I think are pretty to look at, but I don't really need it.

    Your breakfast looks so yummy!

My wedding cake at my reception and the two groom's cakes my husband had were nasty. So you're not missing much. I hope you get a delicious cake that is worth the calories.

My nephew and his bride had cupcakes for their wedding cake. They were on a stand like some of your fantasy cakes, but there were many more arms on the stand. It was really cute, and they were able to have more than one flavor. emoticon

I decided to get some protein shakes. I have been missing my mark of 80g of protein daily. Although per Sparkpeople, I am close to the right percentage. Just trying to work an old food plan that a doc gave me. Thanks for reminding me if I try hard enough, I will be able to eat that amount of protein with real food. It's hard to balance the calories vs the protein though. They both seem to go up too quickly. And then i am at my max allowed limit.

Yummm.... it all looks so delicious! Now I want to try topping my toast with the pumpkin/baked apple combo. Great job staying accountable, and on upping the protein, it's not an easy feat for me either. Those mini-cakes are adorable... (almost) too pretty to eat! What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! Maybe it can be a reward next year, for maintaining/achieving your goals? Keep up the hard work, you're doing great!
