Okay. This is going to sound goofy, but I am so thankful for the smell of a fresh cut orange. I have been eating poorly for so long that I think I really have forgotten how to appreciate what real food is like. It is a bit of a dreary winter day and I'll have to say that that orange I had cut up to eat did lift my spirits a little. What lifted my spirits even more was that I chose to eat that instead of some processed stuff. One good decision to build off of. emoticon

I love the smell of oranges! Sometimes I play with the rind breaking it up even further just to keep the aroma going throughout the house. Yummy!

And if you keep at it, the appreciation just grows! It's awesome like that, how the body just loves good food. I feel so much better now that I'm eating well, getting my freggies and such.

What I would do is put up a tantalizing picture of an orange on my fridge so it would remind me of that moment when I'm going to grab something to eat.
