Challenging myself to loose weight

So I have been horrible about working out for a few months now and my waistline is expanding again. I want to change this so I am getting back into being more accountable (recording my food eaten on sparkpeople) and I joined a couple of weight loss challenges. A television program does a 10 pound weight loss challenge in January, and Gold's Gym has their 12 week challenge. Right now I am not doing so well on the 10 pound challenge...I gained weight the first week
but I am going to change that fast. The 12 week challenge started yesterday and I am going to win this. I was a finalist last year, this year I am going to be a winner! I have started out well by recording my food today, and really watching my calories, I also received my protein bars so I can snack smarter than I have been.
I find it really hard to push myself to go to the gym by myself but luckily my husband's work schedule has started to slow down again so we should be able to go together again. I can't wait to work out with him, even if it is just an hour of cardio it is getting myself moving and doing something.
