How many times am I going to do this?

Saturday, January 12, 2013

Well...when I started back at Sparkpeople I was off to a good start. I lost 6 pounds in the first 2 weeks and somehow got distracted. I am not sure how that happens when I am actually seeing results but anyway...I decided to put it 'on hold' until the biggest loser challenge started so I could hit that full force. I decided to start getting back to things Tuesday. I ate well, stayed under my calories, and worked out on the treadmill for the first time in a looooong time. Wednesday I got sick. (The same day the biggest loser started) I was sick Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and today I can actually eat. My stomach doesn't necessarily like it but I feel a lot better. After my root canal, today is the first day I can actually chew on both sides of my mouth.

With all that being said I lost about 7 pounds this week. Now that I am feeling better I am not even thinking of it as a negative thing (being sick). I am trying to look at it as a jump start to my weight loss. I am hoping that once I am feeling completely better I don't gain it all back....
So here's to hoping a little sickness goes a long way... emoticon

I also am watching The Biggest Loser for the first am emotional watching that hits close to home for me in a lot of ways. With the teens being on there, it reminds me of also is a big motivator.
