Friday, January 11, 2013– Day 5 Finished

I can’t believe it; day 5 already of this 7 day challenge. I must admit the road has not been easy and it has been a challenge to make a conscious effort daily to burn a focused 1000 calories per day. I am so curious to find out what the rewards will be after day 7.

I am finding that my body is craving some exercise, or maybe it’s just all in my mind. Nonetheless, it is becoming more of a habit which is a good thing; benefit #1. So let’s see how I got it done yesterday:

Morning bike ride - 20 Minutes – 6.40 miles - 379 Calories
Midday Weight training – 40 minutes – 160 Calories
Late night bike ride (11:15pm) – 35 minutes - 664 Calories

Total Calories burned: 1203


Not too bad, 95 minutes of exercise, I’m proud of myself. Well only two more days on this journey and I’m still pressing forward. That’s all for now; enjoy your weekend and Happy Sparking!
