So like many, I got off track over the holidays. I still walked, a little! I watched what I ate (too many cookies!) So now the scale tells me I added 5 lbs. Ok, its not 10! So back in the school/work routine, and I've lost 2 weeks! So it is day 12 of the month and I've only tracked 2 workouts... eek!
Today is amazing! It is Jan 12, its 60 degrees, and I'm in Michigan! So I worked out, and took to short walks already today! Back on track again! Need to revamp my schedule & routine... do the same thing, get the same results! So while I've kept off 45/50 lbs in the last almost 3 years.... I feel I still have about 50 to go before I'm truly healthy for my age and weight. I know... don't focus on the number.... I try not to most of the time, but I have a goal, and that's important.... I don't think it's unreasonable to want to be 5'5" and 175. I'm not looking for "skinny," just looking for the ME thats under all this soft skin!
That being said... my kids got xbox kinect for christmas. So i'm saving for either the zumba or the biggest loser game so I can change up my routine some! I understand it questions you when you don't sign in regularly too! Anyway, need to calculate how many calories/exercise minutes dance party 4 burns! We have had several ridiculously fun evenings having dance parties with the kids! I know I broke a sweat once or twice!
So, the new years resolution? Not 50 lbs, not exercise more eat less, .... consistency and accountability!
