So there is a famous organization who's founder was frustrated that no one would join him in his successful strategy for personal change. He complained to his wife and she said but Honey, you are successfully changing your behavior.
So no one else showed up at the Mall for the SparkSacramento Spark Peoples Official Team walking challenge. ..But I waved hello to all the other mall walkers and spoke to one sweet lady who was walking by herself. (Dorothy) AND I walked for my hour. AND even though my pedometer has not worked for the last two days.... (I can guesstimate because I have been doing it for so long I know I normally walk a twenty minute mile.)
I think it was successful because I was there walking and making my life better..
Now for next month on the second saturday of the month. That would be February 9th.
We will try walking at 9 and at 10 ( in consideration for the morning challenged)
Those who wish to may sign up for the Mall Walkers Club at Arden Fair's Desk which opens at 10 and that is where we will meet. It is in front of JC Penny.
I also belong to the mall walkers at Sunrise Mall which is closer to my house.
I will also encourage people to participate In either or both activities.
I also belong to a gym. I enjoy the water aerobics but it is sooo cold. I do not have a wet suit
So I will start doing the group strength training or other class when I can.
It wouldn't kill me to go walk on a treadmill either.... I cannot run.....
So anyway it is a successful day.
My son and his wife will be here to celebrate his 44th birthday with a carbohydrate free lunch.
