Praying for wisdom

Saturday, January 12, 2013

Things just never seem to settle down here. We will begin the renovation of our sanctuary that is long overdue in a couple of weeks. The vote at our special-called business meeting was overwhelmingly in favor of it. However, those who are against us spending any money on such improvements will not cease in trying to make a stir.

One of those who is becoming a malcontent is our part-time youth minister. Please pray for me as i find the best way to deal with him regarding his attitude towards this project. He has been doing a less to n effective job in leading our students positively in the past year. If he were full-time, he would have already been fired.

I am just seeking the best way to handle this without creating too much collateral damage.

Praying that God does lead you in what to say and how to say it.

You are doing the right thing by praying and allowing God to work the situation out, instead of just jumping in and making rash decisions. I think God has put that person there for a reason, and even though right now he may not be as effective as you would like him to be, God can use him for the good! God bless you! emoticon emoticon
