Jan. getting back on-line

Back on line as of yesterday. Sunny and looks warm here today, must get out for a walk. We went for a 1 mile walk at the rec centre yesterday and then got groceries. I found a pork tenderloin piece stuffed with cheese and asparagus at the store to try for supper. Then I cooked brown rice in my new rice cooker and added frozen corn, black beans and a can of garlie and olive oil flavored diced tomatoes... very good....

Will have to get up the courage to WI again.. been eating bad lately, ice cream is my nemesis, I need to NOT buy it... and CHocolate is my arch enemy... I had gotten down to 188.8 after Christmas, but hope it's not too bad, but sure sign of losing control is not checking.
I had set a goal to have skates and be learning to skate by Jan. 5, but haven't found any skates... would probably need a helmet too... and then it's $3 each to go, so much for cheap stuff to do...

    Welcome back! What kind of skates are you getting? Definitely get a helmet! You have sunshine? Lucky--we've been in dreary fog for three days. Ugh! LOL

    emoticon back, good to see you back on-line, I cheer you on your journey, hope you find those skates, and yes, a helmet would be a good idea at least while you are learning, I skated for years, and always enjoyed, I also enjoyed tobogganing, there are a lot of winter sports besides skating, you could try cross country skiing, you get a super workout with that sport, the benefit of cross skiing is you can rent the equipment at your local ski run which will save you some money at least until you see if this is something you would enjoy doing, hope this helps, keep up the great work... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
