Smile :)

Just read a blog this morning about the benefits of smiling and how it can turn your day around from a normal or grumpy, to a happy day. Are you all smiling a lot during the day? Are you having good laugh? I started thinking, about my life, my lifestyle and realized that I don't smile as much as I use to, I don't laugh like I use too, and to be honest with you, I have no clue why.

My sister and I used to have those cooking weekend where we would get together and cook batch of spaghetti sauce, lasagne's, meatloaf, shepherd pie or other stuff that takes time, and more fun to do with someone else. It was a lot of work, chopping, cleaning, carrying stuff around but we had so many laugh burst and sometimes it would just go on. We would then gather some friends and family members and share a wonderful meal, and again some good laugh. My sister had her husband and daughter to take care of, she used to work long hours, especially around the Holiday season, so by prepping meal that she could freeze it was easy to plan. Since I was single at the time, my sister always made sure I had prepared meal of different stuff pack for lunch and diner, she new I would end up not eating since I did not care to cook for myself or in a restaurant. I know, I know, she spoiled me :)

I have been living far from my family for 7 years now, wow time flies! So for my sake today I will plaster a smile on my face and spend 1hr on the phone with my sister, and 1hr with my mom as well. So have all a great weekend everyone, plaster a nice smile and do what you enjoy

Smiling makes you feel better and makes everyone around you feel better too. I have a ringtone on my phone for my niece who just had a baby recently. It' a baby giggling and laughing. When it goes off, everyone in the room starts laughing~
