Got my brave self on...walking in PUBLIC today!

Saturday, January 12, 2013

I'm taking the advice of several of my Spark friends, who have challenged me to stop hiding in my house for fear of others laughing at my obese self walking down the street. One even said I might even be encouraging another (intimidated) person like me to walk outside as well....

So, got my good walking shoes, my water and my iPod full of 60's Oldies rock songs, and I'm off. It is 54 degrees, no wind, and the sun is shining bright!

Look out world, here I come!!!

I really, really hope you enjoyed your walk. emoticon emoticon emoticon . Walking can feel so wonderful, and it gets easier. What will be great is if someone mentions that they are noticing that you look thinner on your walks. :) It has happened to me.

People are probably impressed that you're out there getting in a workout, so go do it. I know when I see someone walking, biking, running, skating...I think "Good for her!"
