Accomplished Some Goals Yesterday - Going to Reward Myself Today

Saturday, January 12, 2013

Today I am going to go clothes shopping since I finally have a coupon for Kohl's and they have lots of clearance items. I also have a $10 rewards code from JCP so will look there too. I'm good on pants and all that, but am always looking for new shirts that are a little out of my normal look so that I can be bold and step out of my comfort zone, LOL.

I'm occasionally rewarding myself with some new clothes items (on sale of course) so that I'm not bored with what I have and actually look forward to wearing new looks.

I accomplished a lot at home yesterday that made me happy. I thoroughly cleaned the kids' bathtub and bathroom, cleaned the house, got our schooling done, cooked a nice dinner (that the males in my household really liked), etc.

The meal I cooked used ingredients I already had (and actually had a stockpile of and needed to use up) so that was a win-win for sure.

The weather has gone crazy here and it's supposed to be near 75 degrees today! emoticon It's crazy to have that type of temperature in January!

Thanks so much for those sweet words. I am trying very hard to remember that I matter and it's good to reward ourselves so we feel that we do.

I live in the north and we are also experiencing a warm cycle - although nowhere near the 70's. I think buying new tops is a great reward. I do try on the next size down to see how close I am to it. Congrats on all your accomplishments yesterday, sounds like you got a lot done, treated your family like royalty, and deserve your rewards. emoticon
