Flu Along with TOM & His Aunt Flo Are Both Visiting!?!?!?

Saturday, January 12, 2013

I still have remnants of the flu with sinus drainage at night making my throat sore during the next day. Today is not as bad as yesterday was though. When I don't have the sore throat, just walking from one room of the house to the other puts me out of breath because of course I can't breathe through my nose, so... Isn't having the flu fun? (NOT!!!!!!)

Last night, I came really close to shutting down my account here & my blog ( www.eagleunderconstructi
) as well as my journal because I haven't felt like doing anything on my blog. I write in my journal every day, but... I talked myself out of all of those things saying it was TOM & his Aunt Flo visiting as well as this flu.

Wednesday night & Thursday morning was interesting as well. Our septic tank backed up Wednesday night. Fortunately, we caught it in time that it didn't flood the lawn or the house, but when the guy opened up the tank Thursday, it was full (& it was a 1000-gallon tank) of 13 years' worth of gunk! Ewww! Anyway, it only costs us $175 which he's allowing us to pay off in a couple of months (Thank God he is because we would've been hurting right about now or would have had to find someone that would take a credit card). He also gave us a lot of good advice.

Anyway, my week was an interesting week! How was yours?
