Slacker Reform

Saturday, January 12, 2013

I have been a slacker since Christmas Eve. I went to bootcamp (land & then water) today. I was thrilled!!! I sweat so much I started to slip in my planks. I even checked in with my Spark Coach. I revisited my old check ins and got completely reinvigorated! It turns out I fail a lot in this diet game but THANKFULLY continue to be successful. My daily notes were filled with daily failures. However, the few positive comments made me happy to read. From now on, I will continue to remind myself to be nice to me. It's the right thing to do.

It's interesting to know how often I think of you. I've noticed you've not been as active for awhile. Glad you're back on track- you are SO HAPPY when you are kicking butt!
    Don't forget that.

Tara is absolutely right about failures. I was searching for the right response, but she made it!

And who said you were supposed to be PERFECT anyway? emoticon

You are awesome! Remember that a failure means you tried and if you keep at it and keep trying then it's not a failure...practice makes perfect! emoticon

I'm excited to see what 2013 holds for you, let's make it a rock star year!!

All we can do is pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start all over again. I would think that last line was pretty witty but I am 100% sure that I just hijacked the lyrics to a Cole Porter song! Well, lack of originality aside it rings true. I can't believe you are hard on yourself, considering how wonderful you are to everyone else. Hey, are you posed in from of a Mickey D? Did you just eat a Happy Meal? Just checkin............ emoticon

As long as you never give up! Maybe those "failures" are learning experiences, helping to make you stronger, more determined, and wiser!!! It seems "inconsistency" has been my descriptor since Christmas. I keep at it but no regularity to it. I think it's just a phase and will pass!
