Let's Get It Started!!

I read somewhere, either on here or on a Facebook fitness page I follow, about a woman who works out at home. She has a number of different work out dvds, P90X, Insanity, Brazil Butt Lift, etc. Instead of following one workout plan for 30, 60 or 90 days she does a different workout every week. So, I thought I'd take a cue from her to get myself back on track. Currently, I have P90X, Brazil Butt Lift and 30 Day Shred. Starting tomorrow I'm going to begin Brazil Butt Lift for a week. I'm looking forward to getting back into it!! I think it might be a bit of a shock to the system, seeing as I've barely worked out in the past month, but I'll get through and after a few days I'll be back in the swing of things.

I've had a super productive day today. Doing laundry, organizing, cleaning out cabinets, lots of fun stuff, lol. I just couldn't seem to help myself and was bouncing around thinking of one thing after another that I wanted to do. Clearly that's a sign that I'm getting back to normal.

Tomorrow I'm going to run some errands. I've got like 10 bags of stuff to donate to goodwill that have been in the back of my closet for far too long. I inventoried the stuff, so I can claim it on my taxes and now I just need to get it out of here!! It's mostly old bedding and too big clothes. I always feel like a load's been lifted from my shoulders whenever I donate things. It just feels refreshing to clear old stuff out of my apartment. I keep things pretty simple. I don't really have any knickknacks and I don't keep stuff that isn't used regularly. I don't like a lot of clutter, so whenever I can clear old stuff out it's always a good thing. emoticon

I already found out I didn't get that job, unfortunately. On the plus side, the recruiter did like me and suggested I take a look at 2 other positions that are available and apply to them if I'm interested. I took a look and they actually are higher paying positions than the one I applied to. One is a Project Manager position, so I'd be in charge other employees and I'd have to make sure they keep various projects on schedule and handling any issues as they arise. That's the one I'd prefer. The other is a Product Trainer position. It's pretty self-explanatory. I'd be training clients on the software the company sells, so it'd be a combination of online training sessions and traveling to offices to train in person. While I've got experience with training and got great feedback from employees in the past, it wouldn't be my first choice of a job to do day to day. I like to have more autonomy than that. I don't have any problems working with people, but I also like that time to just sit in front of a computer and geek out. If I'm training people, obviously it'd be pretty much 100% working with people which would not be my preference. That said, if they offer me the job, of course I'll take it! I can try it out for a while and always apply for other positions within the company as they become available.

So that's what's going on in my world right now. I'm looking forward to my workout tomorrow!!

  Tell me how you like the Brazilian butt lift. I've been wanting to get it but wasn't sure if it's worth it. That's the one area on me I want to tone up a little but not lose completely:)

it is never to late to start.

my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.

i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..

i walk 15000 steps a day.

i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.

i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.
