Day 5 SCD

I didn't get to do much checking in yesterday since it was a long (13 hours) work day for me. But I did stick to the program and saw another 1.6 pound loss on the scale from the measurement on Wednesday. That's a total of 7.2 pounds since I started on Monday. I know lots of it is water, but I also saw just over a 2% decrease in the body fat measurement my scale provides. This translates into losing the weight I put on during my hiatus and then some! I'm very happy with that! I'm still going through a little carb withdrawal with the headaches and being a little more tired at the end of the day. But I expected that since I experienced that last time. I have faith I will rebound in no time.

I did have to rethink my cheat day, which I had planed on having Sunday. Partly because I got called in to work on Sunday and partly because of an infection caused by taking antibiotics (ladies you know what I mean right?) So, I'm choosing to be extremely careful about the amount of yeast and sugar I put in my body. So sad to say no movie marathon with kettle style popcorn, pizza and sinfully decadent homemade truffles.... Ugh!!! I can at least indulge in some yogurt and fruit so still a happy event!
