My WUB (weekly update blog) January 11 th :
1.Working toward 500 Fitness Minutes goal for the month of January. 3 points
How to improve: Set my alarm clock and give myself time to wake up. Pack my workout bag the night before. THIS IS WORKING!!!!!
Also, I added sitting in the steam/eucalyptus room after the pool I know I get fatigued from sinus problems. Probably I grow stuff up there . YUK! I got some anti virus med from the naturopath, too. And I put vaseline in my nostrils at night and drink water through the night if I wake up. I am having less congestion. I already had an air cleaner in the room and I just changed the filter.
I know this gives me a bit more energy. Not much but every little bit helps. waking up alert helps me get myself to the pool to exercise.
2. "Daily, base 2 of 3 meals on veggies." 3 points
On the ACCOUNTABILITY FORUM on my team I again made this THE GOAL for this week.
I wanted to make these vegetables be "greens" this week but that has not happened yet. Some spinach but mostly whatever veggies were here, carrots, sweet potato, sauerkraut, etc.
3. " No more than one cup of coffee per day.
And drink minimum of 8 glasses of water and/or green tea per day." only 2 points... but better than last week.
How to improve: Replace the coffee with green tea. It still has caffeine.
And use the stuff for energy from the naturopath. And get more sun now in the winter months.
4. "Limit SP time to 2 hours. ...
... so "Me Time" is used for a hobby or seeing a friend or something active like taking a walk." 2 points
I have a lunch date for tomorrow!
And last night I was having great big belly laughs at shows on the TV. This has not happened in a very long time. I bought a book of jokes on cds and played it in the car. that got me some laughs too.
#4. How to improve: Since hitting Level 18 in sparkpoints I need to change my focus to actually DOING the things that make me healthy like daily exercise and eating 3 real (and veggie based) meals and only 2 snacks each day .
Only 2 snacks!! Oh my!!
5. Water aerobics at least 3 times per week---- 3 points!

Even though this is a 'wimpy' goal (eating 2 veggies per day), it is definitely helping me.
I want to make my goal to not overeat in the evenings. For 2 years I tried hard and that just is not happening.
i have tried many of your suggestions over this 2-3 years on SP and I have lowered my expectations somewhat . At least I am not feeling failure. On my Evening Eating Team I can put
almost everyday. One week at a time, well, one day at a time for 7 days actually.
My 'Christmas weight' is almost gone.
And, definitely writing the Weekly Update Blog has helped keep my behavioral goals in mind week after week.
