Time to get back on track!

I've been gone for a couple of months. Life got in the way, but I didn't do so bad. During that time I've been dealing with a lot of stress primarily caused by a bullying incident at my son's school where he defended himself and he got severly punished and the bullies got nothing! zip, zero, nada. not to mention the holidays. I wasn't keeping track of my food and didn't have time for exercise. So I will consider only a 2lb gain a huge success. That means I'm learning and adjusting my lifestyle permanently. I DIDN'T GAIN IT ALL BACK! VICTORY! Now it is time to get back to work. I have 5 1/2 months to lose the last 42lbs to reach my goal before my 40th birthday. This little hiatus proves to me that I can do it. Our family Christmas gift just arrived at Walmart. I bought us a small Gold's Home Gym. My son wants to exercise & that is good because he doesn't like fruits or veggies and it will be great for me. No matter how late I get home from work I can at least get some work in. Even if it's only 15 min. Now all I have to do is get someone to help me get it to the house. My very first workout will be putting the darn thing together. LOL.
I have made a New Years Resolution and for the first time in a long time it has nothing to do with losing weight! This year I will stop sitting on the couch watching TV wishing and waiting for life to come to me and I'm going to go out and live it! Ironically this will be a challenge to me reaching my goal. It seems the only things to do in this small town are to go to someones house where everyone is eating and drinking alcohol or going to a bar where everyone is drinking alcohol. I do not have a drinking problem but even a few drinks is a whole lot of empty calories I don't need. I guess I will pretend I'm tipsy and dance like no one is watching to burn them off. LOL
Happy New Year everyone! I am bound and determined that this will be a great year!
A new look for the new year
