A good friend of mines had weighed herself and was torn at how much she gained. So I had decided to face reality and weigh myself after being away/down for 3 months because of my broken toe. Now, having been at this rodeo for 3 years now, I know that water weight, for ME, is the first to drop and I told myself what ever you see...just take it in!
that didn't happen. I was sad when the scale read 195lbs on Tuesday, January, 1, 2013. I gained back half of what I lost...ugh! I was sad for about two days and instantly began to increase my water intake since I knew that was the first easy goal I could tackle.
Sunday, January 6, 2013 I weighed in at 193lbs. Okay, so I was going in the right direction and dropped 2lbs worth of water. After feeling like a garbage disposal from eating so much of this and that these past 3 months, I decided to do my own version of a detox I knew I could stick with.
Wednesday, January 8, 2013 I weighed 190lbs...more water dropping seriously just plain water. Sure, I started working out again. For MY body, I know it is water I am dropping.
Today, I weigh 187lbs...I did not do anything special!
After watching Dr. Oz and reading more about The Plan. I have decided to do it starting next week. I want to take 20 days to find ALL the food that I CAN eat for MY body that will NOT cause me to bloat, gain weight, have IBM, etc.
I think it makes sense that there is NO such thing as healthy or bad foods but food that works for YOUR body. I AM on the quest to my find my non-reactionary foods!
Let's face it...not all veggies have the same effects on EVERYONE's body. Some veggies actually make me bloated and gassy...Why hurt your body just to eat or indulge in something that YOU know is making it crazy for "health" sake? There are so many more alternatives.
