Oh boy! Where to start?
I feel so great because the excitement is back in my weight loss journey. Without it, it was mainly a chore, but now, the fun is in the house!
I'm hours away to know with which team I will be for the next 12 weeks of the BLC21 and I can't wait because I want this challenge to be really successful! The team of people working for these BLC are awesome! They must put a lot of work into it! They do an amazing job at creating a good vibe and motivating us so we can start the challenge full steam ahead!
I'm also on day 6 of BeFit in 90! Can't believe the first week is almost done! Today is a rest day so it's quite easy. The workouts are really just the right amount of challenge for me. I'm tired and wet with sweat at then end of each 35 minutes. I developed a love/hate relationship with burpees because they are so hard so I know they are good for me, but boy I wish sometimes no one invented them!!! I'm pretty confident I will be able to keep doing this and finishing the entire 90 days because I'll be doing it as a part of my BLC. It's like a super boost combo!
I must say I feel so bless for my BeFit in 90 teams! You guys are awesome! I'm sure we will reach our goals (we WILL do 5 real push-up one day
). I'm still amazed how strangers can help each other, cheer and support! That's the magic of Spark People I guess.
I'm also excited for 3 events coming this year. I want to register for a 10k during the Marathon de Montréal. My sisters want to join me in a Sprint Triathlon, so I'll need to see if that's possible. And a friend of mine wants to do a team for the Spartan Race! The other two events are in september, so I have lots of time to prep, but the Spartan Race, a 5k obstacle course with walls to climb, fire to jump over and barbed wire to crawl under, is may 26th! so it's coming pretty fast! But I think I'm gonna try it. After BeFit in 90, I should have more muscular resistance, and I will have an other month and a half to train more specifically for that race. Have you ever done such race? The only thing that turns my off a little for these 3 events are the costs. But I figure I don't pay for gym, so I can probably afford that!
The week-end will be challenging food wise and I won't have much time to exercise but you know the saying:
So i'll make sure I do at least my BeFit videos and if possible, I'll throw in some elliptical to compensate from the bad food I'll probably eat (3 party in one week-end). It's not the time to make excuses, it's time to make changes!
Have a great week-end, make the most out of it and
I hope monday you'll be able to say:
