I've Got The Weight Loss Blues

Itís looking like I wonít be reaching my goal for the week and Iím a bit bummed. I did however manage to lose 2 ounces which is good, but not what I was hoping for. Because Iím fighting an upper resp infection, Iíve been too ill or tired to do cardio. Iíve been eating very well, but I guess itís not enough. Starving myself isnít the answer, but if Iím not able to exercise I donít know what else I can do but cut my caloric intake.
Iím frustrated and am feeling pretty lethargic.
Definitely going to do at least 15 mins on the treadmill and 15 mins of mild strength training tonight. Iím hoping that my body can handle it.

Mini NSV:
My ring size has gone down from the last time I checked (which was about 4 months ago or more), I think half a size. Always a great thing!

    Ur doing great, sweetie! Keep up the hard work! And yes, its hard work eating as healthy as u do :) U amaze me everyday! Maybe there was a very minimal loss this week, but u have come so far...physically, emotionally, mentally! Btw Im very proud of u for doing ur workout last night! I know it took a lot of effort....u are an amazing woman - dont u ever forget that!!!!

    Make sure you are drinking plenty of water to help flush all the crud out of your system. A lot of meds cause water retention, so if your taking anything to fight the infection, that could be the problem. Get healthy soon!

    When your body is run down, tired, sick, you hold every calorie to help strengthen or fight. Don't worry about the scale, weight loss or exercising. Work on getting better and then it will all work out.

    Oh No! Feel better soon. When you are sick, your body will hold onto what it thinks it might need "just in case" As soon as you start feeling better, thos pounds will start falling off again ;)

You did good, girl. Especially fighting an infection. Those are the worst-- they completely incapacitate your lungs for any sort of cardio-doing, but don't mess up your appetite at all!! Hmmph..
