In so much pain today! My legs hurt so bad then when I sit down I have to debate getting up even if I need to get up. Do end up getting up but it hurts. No pain no gain right!! I did my couch to 5k already and now I'm relaxing until by 30 day shred! I'd take my day off today but tomorrow is a busy day and so far cannot find a time to squeeze it in.
May just wake up at 5 to get it all done. But I know I'll be dying of hunger because I have to take meds on an empty stomach and then cannot eat for at least 30 minutes after it. And I take it everyday at 7am. And we plan on leaving around 8am. Guess if I do wake up so early I can nap on the drive. Going to have to get up early the 16th as well for the 12 hour drive to see my mom.. might as well get in the habit!!!
Now today is the first time I have eaten yogurt in years. And still can't stand the thickness and it just has this odd taste. Now I love frozen yogurt but it might as well be ice cream! My friend told me to try Dannon Light and Fit because she's big on texture and feelings with food as well. I must say it was more fluffy but still to odd!
My goal is to at least eat yogurt once a week because it is really good for you, with the live cultures and all. My mom would be proud! Have hated it since I can remember. Maybe I will learn to tolerate it enough to eat a bit more of it. I did the blueberry one today. Might buy vanilla and put strawberries and blueberries in it so I mainly get chunks of fruit and barely taste the yogurt. Any ideas?
Date night with Ryan tonight :). We are going to cook a vegetarian dish. It is a mushroom strogenoff. We love meat but trying new things. Not sure about the sides. And for dessert a slice of banana blueberry bread. Then we are going to watch House at the End of the Street. Going to try to avoid popcorn but no promises on that! Popcorn is my weakness!! I love staying in on date nights. But tonight if the sky is clear we may make some hot cocoa and drive to one of his uncles farm lands and look at the stars.
Our first date in the panhandle he took me out to see the stars. I was loving them from his dads house and he said even though it's a small town the lights still hide the stars. So we went out to one of his uncles corn fields to see them. He laughed because I was so fascinated at how they lit up everything and how there were thousands! But lets face it I'm from Houston!!! We are lucky to see 10 stars!
Hope everyone has a lovely day and a great weekend!!
