Galatians 5

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.

My Prayer:

Please LORD continue to grow the fruit of the Spirit in me so others may see that the power of the Holy Spirit dwells within and my body is YOUR temple that YOU make Holy for Your glory.....In Jesus name....Amen!

Patience is a virtue, a fruit that I am having difficulty with....please LORD help me to be patient as I wait upon YOU. Help me to have patience with others, knowing all things happen in YOUR time and YOUR timing is perfect. Forgive me for trying to get ahead of YOUR plans for my life and trying to take control once again. Keep me from walking away from the path you have created for my life; help me to place my eyes back on YOU....pick me up LORD JESUS and place me back where I belong....safely in YOUR arms.....Do what ever it takes GOD to change me into the person YOU created me to be for YOUR Jesus name Amen!

"Through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, we become more and more like Jesus, which is another blessing from the Lord. His Spirit transforms us from the inside out and produces godly fruit in our life (Gal. 5:22-23). He also empowers us to choose righteous living and break unholy habits."

What GOD keeps telling me is the work is of the Spirit...not me....HIS power...not by my work, power, intelligence or strength...anything I TRY to do is worthless if it is not GOD's will....all the good I TRY to do is filthy rags if I am doing it without the power of the Spirit.

If I touch lives by the words I write it is because the words came by the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through me. GOD is love so I pray all day long to be changed into the image of Christ Jesus for HIS glory.

I don't have bible verses committed to memory...wish I did but I absorb the feeling of what I read and I pray the power of that spirit flows through me. Still very new to it all but I trust in my Savior Jesus' promises to direct me and if my thoughts are not correct, HE will enlighten me to the truth as long as I seek HIS living words of truth, love and light!

    Luke 11:9 & 10
"And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. for everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

You can not do anything in your own strength but only by the power of the Holy Spirit can one change, that way one can not boast....
Yes, GOD has changed me but HE continues to change me so I pray for continued change that others may see; the glory be to GOD and so I do praise the LORD as I seek HIS guidance and response to what HE is doing in my life is obedience to what HE asks and I can only do what HE asks by the Holy Spirit which is why I pray as I do....I am totally dependent on GOD as a child being guided and taught by their parent and HE is faithful.

    2 Corinthians:12

My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.

I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me.

He has already change you. You have to work on it to praise Him!
