Half-Marathon in March

Friday, January 11, 2013

Yesterday, i had a nice discussion with one of our college students who is planning on running his first half-marathon this March. He wanted to know if i would run with him. How could i turn down an invitation like that. He ran cross-country in high school, and is going to have to bump up his miles on a long run each week to get ready. However, i told him that we will probably start the race together, but he will probably have to wait for me at the finish line.

It should be a fun experience. By the way, i was blessed with some great January weather for a long run outdoors this morning.

Blessings

Congratulations on another new goal. Running a half will be much better with someone even if you are only with them at the start and the finish. With all of the running you do finishing a half should be no problem.
