I made it through the first week of my January Jump Start challenge. Adding the extra days of cardio is probably the best thing for me. I know my doctor will be pleased, because he always tells me 3 times a week is not enough. 5 will make him smile, especially if I can weigh in lower than the last time. I have a month or so till I see him, so hopefully I will have a good number! At least he didn't see what I did during December... he would not be pleased!
Today I worked out at the gym- 32 minutes on Elliptical - working up to 35 - and the strength training. I added a couple of moves from the infamous "thighs" video. I am having some issues with upper body work because of the tennis elbow, and need to find some exercises that don't hurt it. I do a couple, and I did push-ups the other day and they didn't hurt! SHOULD have done them today... just 5 more minutes will push me over 500 fitness minutes for the month. And that IS something to be proud of, especially since we're not quite through half the month.
