I am one of the best at coming up with excuses for one thing or another. Eating can bring about a landslide of seemingly sound reasons why I need to be engaged in this activity. I could probably be a leading contender for the award of Biggest Excuses, should this award exist.

    You're only human and offhand I can't think of many people trying to change their lives for the better and breaking some old unhealthy habits and forming new healthy ones can get stuck and have a brilliant excuse, but usually not an excuse they haven't used before to help themselves feel better about not doing what they know is best for them. I've used many of them myself but in time your excuses will almost be non-existent as you progress on your Healthy Journey. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Believe me, we all have excuses, many, many of them. lol But you know, you are now aware that you are making excuses, doesn't that mean something? If nothing else, you are feeling a wee bit guilty. That's good, right? Okay, now that I talked myself into 'your' excuses, maybe I could go and find something I shouldn't eat :) Noel

    I also indulge a bit too much at the table. I love food! One way to combat it is to clean up the kitchen so you don't feel like messing it up very soon. I made a big salad, did a little fridge culling, then cleaned the whole thing up. Now I don't feel like messing it up right away.
