See, I told you I would fix the date :)

Okay, so as I stated in the last post, I am back. I did not gain or lose during the month I was "internet free". I didn't really do any exercise at that time, unless a couple of rousing games of battleship counts, but in the end I still managed to maintain. I think the thing that helped was because of all the food, and all the leftovers, you tend to get sick of them after a while, and just really don't want to see food.

I was pretty down during that time too. It was my last Christmas with this side of the family (at least for a while) but I didn't even realize it at the time. Only after my Aunt said something did I stop and go "oh, yeah...". Hopefully we can get together for Easter so I can at least have one more big family gathering before we leave.

The organizing and getting rid of stuff also stood by the wayside during the holiday season. With my grandmother passing away in November, and hubby's dad still getting us to look through and take his mom's things, everything seems to have found a home in my home :( This isn't so bad, but I didn't have a chance to look through everything, and when everything came home, it had just replaced everything that I had already done. I just got so discouraged that I didn't touch anything.

Since the tyke has gone back to school now, I started back up on the cleaning wagon. Hubby's schedule allowed for me to stay home all week, so no interruptions. I did definitely make headway. He went back to school on Tuesday, and I am already in the bedroom, having done the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. So really, I only have the 2 bedrooms and a "storage" room left. The storage room is just a room....probably about the size of 2 apt. sized bathrooms put together. It leads to the balcony and has our upright freezer, an extra fridge and a bookcase. Everything else is what has been put in during the 10 1/2 years of living here. Not looking forward to that one, but that's why it's one of the last rooms to do. There is also the storage unit at the back of the apartment, connected to the main bedroom. That one will be done with the main (which I'm on now) because I want to use it to put boxes of the things that we are going to pack and take with us when we move.

So all of this to say I don't really have an exercise plan this week. Watching what I eat for sure, and making all the meals, but no exercise. I really want to get the organizing/cleaning done since I am on a role. That, and my best friend is coming down in March to stay for a week, so I really have to clear out the tyke's room, cause that is where they are staying. His first time to Montreal! Should be interesting.....
