Calorie Carnage

Friday, January 11, 2013

Yesterday, I got my lunch time walk in and I felt like we did it pretty fast. It's always better when the walking buddy goes along. So that goal was easy to hit and fun to boot.

Now the Calories - I suspect that there will be a memorial for the family of the cutting calories goal as it was murdered yesterday at dinner time. Arrangements to be announced.

emoticon Burn 325/day

emoticon Cut calories 300/day - disaster. Not sure why I was so hungry or why I let it get control but this goal was slaughtered.

emoticon Walk 30 min/day - woohoo for walking buddies!

emoticon Cardio 30 min/day - I did some other chores that needed done, but I can't count it as cardio. Sigh.

I hate it when I pick up a shovel instead of a fork. I'm suppose to be breaking that bad habit!

Ok, now... let's focus on today's goals. Onward and upward... well, downward as the case may be. (calories)

Poor calorie counting goal, it never had a chance. But like all good boogiemen, he's coming back strong in the sequel....

hmmm....this is going to be one of those weird indie movie where the boogey man actually wins, isn't it? emoticon

It happens to the best of us... keep pushing. You can do it and we're going to kick booty. Just remember, progress not perfection.

I was looking at your goal blog - wow! Ambitious!

emoticon Maybe you can anticipate your next 'hunger strike' - have a couple of healthy snacks around the house that you can grab at need- with all the working out that you are doing, your body is bound to have an adjustment period. Don't beat yourself up - cravings are not all bad - sometimes there are nutrients that our bodies need.

    You're an inspiration!
