Yesterday I stayed on plan, but after about an hour's worth of searching, I found a way to "eat out" - to eat "fast food" to not have to cook for once - and to stay on target.
Let me emphasize that this was NOT a normal thing, nor do I plan to repeat this often. But I know me...and I know I MUST eat foods that I love and enjoy -- if I deny them, I will go right back to my old eating habits. So, this is one of those "occasional and in moderation" things!
For my Breakfast and lunch, I had my regularly-planned meals.
Breakfast: two of my 60-calorie-each oatmeal cookies (more like a mini biscuit)
Lunch: 1/2 Blue Cheese Chicken Burger on bun and 14 Pringle light chips
Breakfast and lunch totalled: 444 calories and 10 fats
Wendy's Spicy chicken Go Wrap (320 cal. 16 fat)
Wendy's Caesar Side Salad no croutons (70 cals, 3 fat)
Wendy's Lemon Garlic Caesar Dressing (110 cals, 11 fats)
The meal was filling and scrumptious and I ate it slowly, savoring every bite. Today I'm just so motivated to keep on track, knowing I had this real treat, and knowing I stayed where I belonged.
With some pretzels, later, I know I was high on the carbs, but only at 55% for the day when it should be 50%, so not bad overall.
My daily calories totalled 1203, and my daily fats were 40, Carbs were 167.
This blog was not to encourage fast food eating or eating out. It was to show that if we really work hard at it, we CAN have special treats....OCCASIONALLY AND IN MODERATION.
