This will be a challenging weekend for me to stay on track with nutrition and exercise, but that's because it is sure to be a fun-filled weekend, so I guess it's okay. This is real life. I can't put my real life on hold while I lose weight. I just have to incorporate as much healthy as I can into my life.
One of my college roommates is coming to visit this weekend. Actually she's on her way here as we speak. I already texted her asking if she'll come to the gym with me tonight. Hopefully she says yes, because I need to keep my butt on track if I'm going to complete the January Jumpstart challenge. I will probably reward her (and myself) by going out for drinks tonight. Tomorrow, we're thinking of going to the aquarium and doing the Sam Adams brewery tour and probably going dancing in the evening. Not a lot of food planned into these excursions, but I know there will be plenty of liquid calories. I'm going to try to stay on track as best as I can, but if I'm not perfect, that's okay. This is my real life and I'll just make better choices the next time. As long as my healthy outweighs the unhealthy, I think I'll be all right.
