FANTASY...
...The creative imagination; unrestrained fancy
...Something, such as an invention, that is a creation of the fancy
...An imagined event or sequence of mental images, such as a daydream, usually fulfilling a wish or psychological need.
Fantasies...we all have them, we just don't all share or admit them. I have them. I daydream a lot! I sometimes play out my fantasies in my mind and think, this could really come true! But STOP! THIS is where I get myself into trouble....with myself. For when my fantasy doesn't pan out the way I played it in my daydream, I become very disappointed and very sad. I then become very angry...with myself. Why angry? Because I can not believe I could allow myself to dream up such a thing or believe that I deserve such a wonderful sequence of events...and then I get sad.
So there is this fine line I need to draw if I chose to fantasize. I need to remember what is fantasy and what it reality! Fantasies can be wonderful and can really help you get through some tough times in your day or life. But the important thing to remember is, reality still awaits right around the corner...don't get carried away with the fantasy today!
