Rough Day For Exercise

Well, after hitting it hard at the gym for the past week, I ran out of steam today. I was feeling a little overwhelmed with other things that had to get done, and ended up not exercising. I'm trying to talk myself around to where it's okay if my day off is not on a Sunday. I can get back on track tomorrow! I need to remember that this isn't a quick fix this time. It has to be about a lifestyle change and I need to keep everything in the proper perspective. It can't be all or nothing if I want to keep this up for the long haul.

  Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I tend to be an all or nothing kind of gal, so not getting to the gym was a disappointment. I was surprised to see comments on my blog! It was a really nice surprise. I really think that I will reach my goals this time. Thank you all again!

    Small baby steps is the way to go!

Pick one small goal & work on that till you achieve it & make it a habit. THEN......baby step 2.....pick another small goal & work on that one until you achieve it & make it a habit. Pretty soon you will be well on your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

REMEMBER.....sometimes it is one step back & 2 steps forward. emoticon

    My days off are usually during the week which means I have one day to get everything done as well. I only got my exercise done today because of the dog. She had to be walk which I enjoy doing. I figure at least I am exercising more than most people and I will make up for it another time. So don't worry about missing a day sometimes it is good for a body to miss a day it gets a chance to energize.

You'll figure a routine that works for you. Remember housework is an exercise.
