Giant Bubbles-just because

Voted Popular Blog Post: View All Popular Posts

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Okay, so this is kinda off-topic, as far as Spark goes. Or is it? I mean, it did get me away from my desk and outside to get some fresh air and a little activity. So, you be the judge, as far as its Sparkworthiness goes. Thought some of you might get a little kick out of this; I mean, who doesn't like bubbles? :)

365 Creativity Journal, Day 10: Use only water as your medium/inspiration today. --Okay, I cheated a little and added some soap. :)

Oh, and if you're wondering why Audrey wasn't out there with me--she wanted to be, but she was feeling a little under the weather today. She's feeling better now, though.

PS: I started a 100 push-ups challenge today. Day 1 had me doing 13, for starters. Let's see where this takes me. I'll let you know. And hey, guess what? Today was Day 648 of my exercise streak--elliptical, stability ball (on a hippity hop) workout, and beginner push-ups.

Spark on!

If it wasnt' so cold outside -23*C/ -10*F with tons of snow, that would make my bubbles freeze on the spot, I'd join you.

I love bubbles! emoticon When ever I think of bubbles I think of rubber duckies too. LOL!

Bubbles are fun for all ages and yes, you can get moving by chasing them around. So it IS spark worthiness in my book!

P.S. I have to find me one of those wands..... my kids (and me) would have a blast with that!

I love bubbles. I have a happy memorie because of bubbles I'd like to share. When I was about 10 years old we moved into a new neighborhood. I was really missing my old friends from my old neighborhood. My oldest brother who lived out of state came to visit. He gave me and my little sister some bubbles to blow out on the front porch. He told us once the kids and the neighborhood saw the bubbles they'd investigate where they were coming from and we'd make a bunch of new friends and we did!!

Your winter weather certainly is fickle! Just last week there was huge amounts of snow on the ground (HUGE snowman), and now nada and you are outside in a sweatshirt! Is your winter usually like that?? The bubbles were awesome!! Maybe climb up on a stepladder??

I have never seen a bubble thing like that. My dog would have a great time with them and I don't know what the cat might do.

I hope Audrey gets better, flu is epidemic in the US and I am on medication for strep throat. I didn't know you could have it and not have a sore throat. I had major tickling in my throat, but no soreness.

I am anxious to get outside and get back into exercising again.

When life gives you rain that melts snow (or sickness that brings down the house)...make bubbles?!? Yes! And I think you should aim for the Guinness World Record of longest streak of daily exercise. I checked - you would win.

How cool! Looks like you found a great formula! Mine calls for original DAWN, and I have another I haven't tried. We did giant bubbles one Easter with the grandkids and the Dads really got into it! You're never too young or too old for bubbles. If Spark isn't about putting fun in your life; we're in the wrong place! emoticon

I am tall. Shoot I dont live near you.

To be tall to get the top things down for a short person in a grocery store. That's what I am good for.

Or can you reach that book on the shelf in the library.

Or I was one of the four girls tall l in my class . Then All the boys were short to dance with . Bummer but they were good looking I must say. Anyhow I did get my catch finally.
A Dutch guy , tall, dreamy eyes. Beautiful smile. . And I married him.

Now oh I wont go there. We all change after 51 years married. I am know

Barbie. Well I was not really then . Just the height and lushes lips and long eye lashes. Well maybe not the lushes lips but I did have the long eye lashes.

A tall person. Forget it. You get too much to do

Be glad your short. It is easier to bend down to that bubble pail.

Love those bubbles. Huge display there Girl. Looks fun.

love your method of head band camera holder. Good thinking.
