Hello Sparkers,

Today was a wonderful day. I went to work, worked until I was dead tired, and came home and looked at my new stove that goes so well in my kitchen. My husband brought us a stainless steel stove. How did he know? I thought the man was going to pick out some white stove that didn’t match our fridge, but he did pretty damn good. I’m impressed! He even saved some money on his purchase and was able to reach in his wallet and hand me $50 dollars to get more healthy snacks with. I’m going to run out and get me some more grapefruit. I love pink grapefruit, and I’m about to get ready to have one in just a few. They are a life saver for me, do you all hear me.

A life saver! I eat them right after dinner sometimes an hour before I go to bed, and it is helping me in so many ways than one. I’m loving it…My body is so sore, but that’s okay. My son talked about helping me reset up the gym, and talked to me about doing a curve designed work out based on my Curves book. The boy has been doing his homework and checking out stuff, and trying to figure out what’s going to benefit me the most during my 8pm workouts. I set my workouts for 8pm, because that will give me a good 40 minute workout and then I’ll have room for a shower and off to bed I go. He said. Mom! I got you. I know he does. I don’t want to see what he got for me, but he said he got me. We’ll see if he can rip my body. I’m not as young as him, but I think my son can do a good job on ripping me into good muscle shape.

First arm workout is tonight. He’s going to drop the weight to 40lbs and I have to lift that sucker a few times. Pressing is my thing, but I don’t think I should be pressing 40 -4x6, but he said I can do it. I think I should do 4x4 and be done with it. But he said. Mom I got you. So, I’m about to head into the workout area and see if we can get it set up. I’m going to pass on tonight’s workout; because I’m sore and I have to do a little cleaning up of the gym. You know…Getting it together the way I like it so we can do this curve style workout. Wish me luck ya’. My son is planning a 10 pound shake down by next week. I like to see that happen myself, but he goes. MOM! I got you…

Ya'll see who got me right. My son -15 years old, and the boy is ripped, and has been in the gym working out for 20 minutes every night before bed.


Okay, I helped build that, so let's see what he can do for me.

    What a beautiful boy! But remember, no more than 10% increase a week to avoid injury. And LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!! If it says stop at four, don't press for six. I injured my shoulder again last week weight training and I was in physical therapy !! emoticon emoticon

    That boy is a fyne piece of flesh - carry your pistol. I think I am going to add in the grapefruit as well - I like what Crystal said - and I need the water off. You can do this and check out my e-mail!

    I've been eating a grapefruit every morning. I wouldn't dare eat one at night, they work like a diarrhetic for me. It took me a while to figure out why the extra bathroom run. emoticon But getting the extra water off and enjoying a healthy fruit is worth it. Hard to believe I used to gag when I ate them. Now I truly crave them.
