Today was a beautiful day here. It was 35 degrees and sunny. I could have gone for a run, but I needed a rest day. So, I went for a nice walk. It was invigorating!! I have been utilizing the free trial of Sparkcoach and although I doubt I will subscribe, I am using what I m learning. Today was a good lesson. It was about night time eating. Which is why I am here blogging. I closed the kitchen after dinner and have not eaten anything since dinner ended at about 5pm. I am having a cup of coffee and drinking water. I have a couple other things planned for the night to keep me out of the kitchen. I am a mindless night time snacker whether hungry or not. That used to be my downfall and my weight gain. I am finding since I started again on my healthy lifestyle that I am more committed and serious about getting and staying healthy. I am seeing changes in my mental, emotional and especially physical being. I like what I am seeing and this is a way of life that I can live with forever. My young children and my increasing age are both motivations to keep me going. I'm past the age where things naturally start going downhill. I want to stay around for my grandchildren. I want to be healthy and teach my children a healthy lifestyle with good eating and regular exercise. I can do it.
