Soooo, Christmas happened...

Yeah. So, I ate a lot of things over the Christmas holiday. I gained 3.5 pounds back. emoticon BUT! Since January 1st, I've lost two of those pounds back. Huzzah! I have been tracking my food and I joined the January Jumpstart challenge to give myself a little extra motivation to do at least a little exercise every day. So far, I've worked out 4 days in a row. All of them work days. And even when I got home from bowling on Tuesday night (so from 930-10). And they've all been 25-30 minutes long. I'm amazing, I know.

My goal for this weekend is to plan meals for next week before hitting the grocery store so that I know what I'll be cooking when I get home (less likely to eat out), to buy more produce (lemons to cut up for my water), and to get more chex cereal because it's GF.

Hopefully I'll be well on my way to losing new poundage by this time next week!

    I gained over the holidays too, easy to do. My trick for weekly dinners is to, yes, have a plan and a list, but also to hit the produce first and spend most of my time there. Each meal is veggie-based with meat as an important side. Keep it up!

    Hey, bravo girlie!!! That's awesome! Keep up the great work - the exercise streak is a fantastic idea. I've been planning my dinners ahead of time for grocery-shopping purposes and it's such a help. You're right, if you've got the ingredients, got a plan, and maybe even done a little prep work the day before, there's no way you'll get take out!

How's the gluten free thing going? Are you sticking to it 100% or just cutting back? Do you think it is still making a difference like it did at the start? I'm curious!

Okay I just creeped your nutrition tracker to see... and WOW you are having teensy little salads for lunch! How do you function??! I would pass out.
